About Caroline Witham
I was born in a small town in Cape Cod, MA. It is here that my core values developed. Trust, Honor and Commitment to Community were embedded into my soul. I am blessed to keep lasting ties to my home town and the people that live there.
I moved out to CA in 1987 where I was fortunate enough to live along the beautiful beaches of Malibu. My knack for networking presented itself young as I introduced my parents to our new neighbors. I was able to create lasting family friendships with the wonderful artistic residents there.
I then had an opportunity most kids would only dream about. I attended Idyllwild Arts Academy in beautiful Idyllwild, CA and received not only my HS Diploma from the prestigious boarding school but also my undergraduate courses in Theatre & Design. Finishing my undergraduate academics and receiving my Masters in Design and Vocal performance from SUNY Purchase in New York.
I moved back to Los Angeles and began working on films & TV shows using my design degree while set decorating for shows like Babylon 5, Jingle all the Way and That 70’s Show to name a few.
After living the hectic life of a Hollywood Industry artist for several years I started to make some connections. Certain connections started asking for help designing things at home and thus my switch from set decorating to interior design was born. I then worked for two of the biggest Los Angeles Interior designers of the time. Ms. Bobi Leonard & Linda Marder.
While designing for these two powerhouses I learned massive amounts of business acumen, professionalism under pressure, negotiating skills not to mention design skills. My creative eye flourished and I am proud to say my work was evident in Hollywood celebrity homes such as Harrison Ford, Brad Pitt, Carrie Fisher, Pierce Brosnan, Pamela Anderson and Ian Ziering to name a few. I was also a design consultant on large scale projects most notably the Hard Rock Cafe in New Orleans.
Why I Became A Realtor
When I choose to move to Orange County I had big dreams and ideas of what I wanted in my first home on my own. My budget was small but still achievable and I was excited!
I searched the area and found several agents who all had good qualifications. After countless phone calls, interviews, emails and even some home tours I was mortified at the overall lack of interest these agents seemed to have for me. I know I wasn’t purchasing a mansion, but I was raised that every person matters!
I vowed that my friends and family would NEVER have to go through the nightmare I did. I would get my Real Estate License and be a beacon of positive energy, caring and understanding to all who need me throughout their home buying & selling process.
